Through a series of interactive workshops, one-on-one coaching, and hands-on application sessions, students will gain the knowledge and confidence to navigate the complex college application process to ensure a strong college fit post-high school.
From SAT preparation and personal statement writing to financial aid guidance and post-submission advocacy, PATH.edu offers a comprehensive roadmap to higher education. Our tailored approach helps students identify the best-fit colleges, maximize financial opportunities, and submit strong applications that highlight their unique strengths.

PATH.EDU COACH
Shradha Patel, an expert college access coach and Boston Business Journal’s Power 50 for 2020 honoree, brings nearly 20 years of experience as a teacher, college placement counselor, and former Principal. She supports PATH scholars and families with personalized, step-by-step guidance—helping them identify the right schools, navigate the application process, and make informed educational decisions. Ongoing sessions through 2025-2026 will assist students in finalizing applications, securing financial aid, and responding to acceptance letters.
THE JUNIOR/SENIOR EXPERIENCE
Connect with other scholars and get step-by-step support with:
– SAT registration and preparation
– College list review
– Personal Statement
– College Application & Financial Aid
Spring 2025 – Graduation 2026
Location: PATH Zoom (RSVP for link)
- Be a high school junior or senior
- Have a commitment to apply early action/decision and attend college
- Show up on on time for every commitment
- At least 4 hours/month from Spring 2025 – Graduation 2026
- Complete service learning commitment (you can earn up to 100 hours with PATH)
- Maintain ongoing communication with PATH staff
THE SCHOLARSHIPS
In the spring, PATH nominates qualified rising seniors for QuestBridge and/or POSSE, some of “the most comprehensive and renowned college access and youth leadership development programs in the United States.”
POSSE
Founded in 1989, Posse identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes. Posse extends to these students the opportunity to pursue personal and academic excellence by placing them in supportive, multicultural teams—Posses—of 10 students. Posse partner colleges and universities award Posse Scholars four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarships.
